UMAP ’22: 30th ACM Conference on User Modeling, Adaptation and Personalization

July 4-7, 2022 | Barcelona (Spain)

Co-located with ACM WebSci 2022 and ACM Hypertext 2022

The conference

ACM UMAP is the premier international conference for researchers and practitioners working on systems that adapt to individual users, to groups of users, and that collect, represent, and model user information. ACM UMAP is the successor to the biennial User Modeling (UM) and Adaptive Hypermedia and Adaptive Web-based Systems (AH) conferences that were merged in 2009.

Onsite and online

For the first time in the history of the conference, UMAP ’22 will be run in a hybrid mode, with the opportunity for speakers and attendees to participate onsite or online. More information on these options will be provided soon.

Celebrate with us the 30th anniversary of UMAP!

UMAP ’22 will mark the 30th anniversary of the conference! The conference will run over 4 days, with the classic tracks that characterize it, spanning from papers, workshops, tutorials, late breaking results, and a Doctoral Consortium.

To celebrate this anniversary, new topics are enriching our main track, a special track on the past present and future of User Modeling, Adaptation, and Personalization will be added, and we will have extra social events to celebrate in full swing. Keep an eye on our website to track all that is coming for this edition of the conference.

No celebration can be done alone, so UMAP ’22 will be co-located with the ACM WebSci 2022 and the ACM Hypertext 2022, both happening in Barcelona a few days before the conference.
