Things To Do in Chicago
Chicago is the 3rd largest city in the U.S. and is known for its architecture, beaches, public art, vibrant music scene, amazing cuisine, and wonderful museums. You should find many opportunities to enjoy yourself beyond the conference. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Visit one of the many Art, Science, and Technology Museums in Chicago including the Art Institute of Chicago, Design Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, Field Museum, and Shedd Aquarium.
2. Visit landmarks in Chicago, such as Navy Pier, Millennium Park, Cloud Gate, Buckingham Fountain, Skydeck at Willis Tower, Lincoln Park Zoo (free admissions!), Chicago Botanic Garden, Garfield Park Conservatory, etc.
3. Have a Chicago Riverwalk or take a Chicago River Cruise to see the Chicago architecture along the river!
4. Shop the Magnificent Mile.
5. See an amazing show: Second City, Broadway Shows. Eat and drink at any of the amazing restaurants, cafes, and bars throughout the city. Definitely try a Chicago-style hot dog, deep dish pizza, Italian beef, and a steak.
6. Attend a sport game, succh as Cubs baseball game, Chicago bulls.
7. Navy Pier Free Fireworks. Keep an eye on the summer schedule in 2027! Enjoy the spectacular display every Wednesday at 9 PM and Saturday at 10 PM in the summer period (May to September).
8. Skyline views in Chicago, from Skydeck at Willis Tower or 360 Chicago at John Hancock Center.
